This coiled cable has a total linear length of 5 metres, but when in use, it comfortably stretches to around 2.5 metres.

Coiled cables naturally hold their shape, so overstretching them beyond their usable length may affect their ability to recoil properly over time.

Its construction features state-of-the-art thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), making it one of the most robust and lightweight cables available. The ergonomic connectors ensure a secure and comfortable grip, while the cable's IP65 rating guarantees excellent resistance to dust and water.

The Type 2 connector includes an additional outer casing made of PC & TPE, providing extra protection against environmental factors and enhancing the connector's durability and lifespan. The TPE material is selected for its excellent grip properties, offering a comfortable and secure hold during use, even in challenging weather conditions.

The innovative design also includes a downward-facing dust cover made of TPE, a material tougher than previous silicon covers, which effectively prevents water ingress and protects the charging pins from corrosion. The downward-facing design helps guide moisture away from critical components, providing enhanced protection and longevity.

Furthermore, this 3rd generation handset has been designed from the ground up with no external fixings, thereby eliminating potential entry points for water ingress. 3-phase 32amp EV charging cables are compatible with single-phase charging stations. In this setup, the 3-phase cable will only use a single phase at a maximum capacity as per the available supply, typically around 7KW. This compatibility ensures that 3-phase cables can be utilised in various charging scenarios, providing flexibility and adaptability to different charging infrastructure setups.
