The innovative design also includes a downward-facing dust cover made of TPE, a material tougher than previous silicon covers, which effectively prevents water ingress and protects the charging pins from corrosion. Single-phase 32amp EV charging cables are compatible with both 16amp and 32amp single-phase supplies. They are also compatible with 3-phase 480V supplies, where the cable will use a single phase at the maximum charge available for single-phase at that charging point, typically 7KW. This ensures flexibility and compatibility with a range of charging setups. Additionally, 3-phase cables offer a more scalable option for the increasingly available faster public chargers, meeting the growing demand for EV charging infrastructure.
